Aneshia Morishita is a teaching artist in Chicago Illinois. She has been teaching since 2020 and has experience with all ages. Aneshia is also certified in CPR and First Aid.

Experience
Aneshia (or more well known as Ms. M) originally started teaching in 2022 while earning her degree in Theatre Arts from Boise State University. She started at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in Boise Idaho and started by being the assistant teacher for a musical theatre class. After that Aneshia taught every chance she had having found a wonderful fulfillment from teaching young and inspired kids to explore a new art form in their lives. In 2024 she worked for Boise contemporary Theatre down the street from ISF and taught for her first time solo to a class of eight to ten year olds and worked with their creative minds to assist and guide them in writing a show which allowed them explore their characters to make them unique. Unfortunately (but with happy spirits) after graduation she left these jobs to move to Chicago Illinois! After living in Chicago and auditioning for a few troupe's she booked a role as a teaching artist with Playmakers Laboratory! She now travels to elementary schools in Chicago and teaches creative writing and storytelling to students.
Recently Aneshia was an employee at Resurrection College Preparatory High School where she was the Theatre Teacher and Director of the theatre program. There she lead the fall production to be put up and fully produced within a short period of time due to the point in the school year in which she was hired.
She also created a connection with St. Patricks High School and together the two schools put on a production of High School Musical: On Stage! in which she was the Director.
Aneshia is currently earning her Masters in Secondary Drama Education from Grand Canyon University. She is set to graduate in 2028.
